I joined the firm team in 2024 as a criminal defence lawyer.

My keen interest in criminal law became clear at law school (Universities of Saarbrücken and Mainz), where I chose to specialise in ‘Criminal Justice and Criminology’.

During my past voluntary work over many years for “White Ring – non-profit organisation for the support of victims of crime and the prevention of criminal offences“, I provided counselling to people affected by criminal offences on the victims‘ hotline and thereby acquired valuable skills to deal with people in distress both empathetically and objectively. This has fostered my understanding of the human and communicative aspects of criminal law and strengthened my conflict resolution capabilities.

Furthermore, as a research assistant in the Corporate Crime and Investigations practice group at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP and at the commercial law firm SZA Schilling, Zutt und Anschütz, I gained valuable experience in the field of commercial criminal law and compliance.
