Thomas Richter

I am a lawyer specializing in criminal law with more than 15 years of successful legal practice. Before establishing my own law firm, I was an equity partner at the distinguished criminal law firm HammPartner in Frankfurt am Main. My legal career began at the renowned commercial law firm Hengeler Mueller in Frankfurt.

I gained international professional experience during a six-month secondment at the law firm Roschier in Helsinki and during my legal traineeship at Shearman & Sterling in New York.

I studied in Münster, Edinburgh and Heidelberg and I received my doctorate from the University of Augsburg with a thesis on capital markets criminal law supervised by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Michael Kubiciel. I enjoyed a classical high school education with qualifications in Latin, Greek and Hebrew.
